Arabic coffee and camel milk chocolate, The Majlis, Dubai Mall, Dubai, UAE
Arabic early evening coffee in the mall
UAE was the country under well control but including some
chaotic situation in the city centre. The Dubai Metro was one of the most
chaotic symbols in Dubai. The passengers who coming as the foreigner workers
has not known the manner or common sense for travelling with underground system
or commuter trains. They had never make the queue in front of the door of
carriage and had never stand clear the door. This metro system project was
established by Japanese companies joint coming from the well-educated peoples’
country.
The common folks in UAE were come from foreign countries as
the oversea workers. The UAE origin people, called as “Emirate” were almost
completely separated from the oversea workers. We will find UAE people in
traditional Arabic cloth in the malls, offices or airports as very limited
situation. The café space in the mall is the oasis for Emirate people and
tourist to escape from the crowded mass.
The café in Islamic countries were very important public
place for the people as the café in Vienna or Paris. They meet friends to talk
over some tea or coffee.
The Majlis was located in the souk area motived as the
Arabic traditional market. You will find fine shops selling gold, jewel or
traditional cloths.
In this Café, I had Arabic coffee and camel milk éclair.
Arabic coffee was very lovely flavour as cardamom, cinnamon and coffee beans.
The taste was a little bit sweet and spicy.
