The simple and comfortable place for praying
Passing through Kurosaki Catholic church and Shitsu Catholic church to Saikai city,
there is a small but nice church where does not have resident bishop, Ono
Catholic Church. This Church is located on the small hill covered with a lot of
plants. From Ono Catholic Church, you will have beautiful view of Sumo Nada (Shape
like Sumo wresting) and East China sea.
The church is a house of one storey and stone arranged wall and Kawara bricked roof. The room is small
as 6.1m width and 11.8m depth. The window had arch and was smaller than that in
Japan. The design of the Ono church was Japanese-French. This church was
designed and established by Bishop de Rotz who was mainly live in Shitsu area,
on 1893. On the age, the import bricks from France were very expensive. He had
chosen the stone which were produced in this area. The stone was black and
green basalt stone. The stones were arranged with mortal.
The green stones wall showed very simple and country side style of the church |

Lovely Scottish flight above the Scotland, BE6899, EDI-KOI
The flights in Scotland were traditionally lovely local routes. The commuter flights were necessity of the local Scottish people and the tourist. I have flied to Islay from Glasgow. This time, I have use the longer route Edinburgh to Kirkwall. The fleet was Saab340 made in Sweeden. The classical but signature fleet was flying around the Scotland, from cities to islands above Highland, from islands to cities. The configuration of the fleet was 1-2 seats. The hat rack has very small space, not for the cabin bag for the airbus commercial fleet.
As the British commercial airline company, Flybe, operated by Logan air which is the commuter airline company in Scotland, served the passengers a cup of hot drink and some sweets during the flight. On my flight from Edinburgh to Kirkwall. I had a cup of tea with milk and chocolate coated wafers. The tea with milk was served as the traditional British tastes and show the nice match with sweet chocolate.

The place we should think about the Spanish colonization through the modern ages.
The first meeting to Christian in Japan
When I visited to Nishizaka, it was rainy day. Though the spring will be
changed to early summer, it was cold and wet day in May. Nishizaka is a small
hill in front of the main station of Nagasaki. Pedestrians walked up to the
hill to get the museum and small church to pray the twentysix martyrs on
Momoyama era.
The history of Martyrs in Nagasaki
This museum and church was officially assigned as the pilgrimage spot in Nagasaki. The martyrdom in Nagasaki had happened on 1597 under the Toyotomi government in Momoyama era. The international trade between European countries and Japan had rapidly developed the past 30 years. On 1596, minor trouble between Portuguese and Spanish and between the society of Jesuit and Order of Friars Minor occurred the Saint Phillipe case. The Japanese Slave trade had become the trigger of this historical event. The governor, Hideyoshi Toyotomi had announced the Statement of Expulsion of Christian padre on 1587. But the statement had been watered down, because the Japanese society had emphasized the importance and benefit of the international trade instead of the Christian. After Saint Phillipe case which the Spanish crews remark about the expansion of the colony of Spain with the Catholic Church, which might have never recognized the truth of event, expulsion had developed to the martyrdom. From the view point of the Japanese government, the Catholic Church and countries which expanded their territories with unethical means had seemed the crisis.
The twenty five martyrs had brought from Osaka and Kyoto to Nagasaki.
The journey was cold mid-winter season. Twenty Japanese, four Spanish, one
Mexican and one Portuguese had been sentence to a punishment at Nishizaka,
Nagasaki.
All countries which had been colonized by Spain and Portugal,
Philippines, Cuba, South American countries or several African countries, were
still under the difficulty of the development.
